Piranhas Sunk by Kingfishers

Due in large part to third baseman Reynaldo Díaz, the Pittsburgh Kingfishers sunk the Panama City Piranhas, 5-1. Díaz was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Cipriano Flores earned the save for Pittsburgh, his 6th of the year. With the win, Pittsburgh is 9-6.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Díaz hit a 3-run home run off Carlos Heath. It propelled the Kingfishers into the lead, 4-1.
"When you win, you always have confidence," said Pittsburgh skipper Tyler Johnson. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
