The Walla Walla Walleye picked up a win at Walleye Tank, knocking off the Pontiac Godfathers, 5-3. On the mound for Walla Walla was right-hander Daniel Shields. He played a key role in the triumph. Alejandro Martínes earned the save, his 1st. Pontiac's current losing streak is now 5 games.

In the bottom of the second inning, left fielder Kel Edwards had a 2-run home run for Walla Walla. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Walleye on top, 2-0.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Walleye manager Calvin Beck.
