Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Delmarva Gallos and Eugene Vandals.

Juan Flores was a major contributor to the 6-4 Delmarva win over Eugene. The Gallos designated hitter was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Josh Simms got the win, improving to 2-2. He held the Vandals to 4 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2.

Flores contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Delmarva get the win.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Eugene skipper José Cervantes.
