Burdett, Godfathers Too Much for Walleye
The Pontiac Godfathers powered past the Walla Walla Walleye, 8-5, at Walleye Tank. Logan Burdett provided some of the pop. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Tom Womack nailed down the save. The Godfathers sit in 8th place in the Premier A with a record of 9-15.

Burdett contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Pontiac in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Burdett took a cutter from Gilberto Barrón and stroked the home run to center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Godfathers to leap in front, 2-1.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Burdett.
