Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Yinzers
The Monroeville Yinzers topped the Chicago Tula, 5-4, in 11 innings at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Monroeville pitcher Jing-yu Xiao. Monroeville occupies 7th place in the Premier A at 12-12.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, 22-year old second baseman Bernardo Valéncia had a chance to be the hero. Chicago pitcher Rafael Gómez had other ideas. But with no outs, Valéncia hit a sacrifice fly. The Yinzers had themselves a dramatic win.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Valéncia said.
