Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Kennesaw Jets and Cut Off Crawdads.

The Kennesaw Jets converted a terrific effort from starter Roberto Valdéz into a win over the Cut Off Crawdads at Jets Stadium. The Jets won the game by a final score of 4-2. Ron Lee picked up the save for Kennesaw, his 9th of the year.

Scott Creswell drove in one run for Kennesaw. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Creswell had a clutch at-bat. Facing Cut Off hurler Carl Roy, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Jets a 3-2 lead.

"Roberto just settled in and did what he does," said Kennesaw manager Jamie Scott.

The win puts the Jets at 13-13, while the Crawdads drop to 14-12.
