In a low-scoring affair between the Put-In-Bay Commodores and the Cut Off Crawdads, pitcher Myron Garrett was the difference between victory and defeat. The Put-In-Bay right-hander earned kudos in the 2-1 Commodores win. Sancho Sánchez finished the game for Put-In-Bay and earned his 6th save. The third-place Commodores have won 6 consecutive games.
Put-In-Bay took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when John Rodgers hit a clutch solo home run to bring Commodores fans to their feet.
