The Eugene Vandals racked up a win at The Riot Zone, bumping off the Cut Off Crawdads, 2-0. Stanley Werner, who started for Eugene, pitched effectively for his team. The Vandals improved their record to 15-13 with the win over Cut Off.

Harley Norman, who is tied for 8th in the PA in doubles with 6, aided the Eugene cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.

"I liked his command," said Eugene manager Milton Mathews. "Stanley was throwing strikes."
