Walleye Suffer 4-0 Loss to Blaze

The Blaze grabbed a win, 4-0, at The Ballpark on the Beach, overcoming a fine effort from Walla Walla pitcher Dylan Snider. Snider went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Ken Johnston recorded the save for South Beach, his 2nd of the season. The 4th-place Walleye now sit at 16-13.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Ken Johnston didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Walla Walla trailing 2-0, Johnston retired Jeff Moultrie to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Johnston, with a wink.
