Yinzers Suffer 9-6 Loss to Liberty U-24
The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 defeated the Monroeville Yinzers, 9-6. Doing his part was catcher Ross Brice, who was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Liberty U-24 improved their record to 15-14 by beating Monroeville.

Armando Madrid came through with a big-time hit for Philadelphia. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 8-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Rio Bavin.
