Murray Leads Charge, Kennesaw Blasts Rogues
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Blake Murray, the Kennesaw Jets defeated the Newmarket Rogues, 14-2. Murray was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Jets. With the win, Kennesaw goes to 14-15, while the Rogues fall to 14-15.

The Rogues had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Jets going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old shortstop Brett Alexander came to the plate. Alexander hit a 3-run home run on a 1-0 cutter from Newmarket hurler Juan Torres. It was Alexander's 6th home run of the year.
