Hermit Crabs Win Squeaker, 4-3, Over Rogues
|
The Huntington Hermit Crabs racked up a win at Rogues Stadium, bumping off the Newmarket Rogues, 4-3, in 10 innings. Georges Boulet, who started for Huntington, pitched effectively for his team. The win puts the Hermit Crabs at 16-14, while the Rogues drop to 9-21.
Huntington used a timely hit from Nick Mason to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hermit Crabs ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.
"There's no quit in this team," said Hermit Crabs manager Bernardino Condeixa.
