The Grim Reapers could not turn a fine performance from center fielder Jeremy Brooks into a win. Instead, the Eugene Vandals prevailed, 6-4. Brooks was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Clarence Butler picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 5 in 5 innings.
