The Kennesaw Jets got a marvelous performance from pitcher Roberto Valdéz. The right-hander kept the Monroeville offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 6-0 Kennesaw victory at Jets Stadium. The winner was Valdéz. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Pete Costa. With the win, Kennesaw has a record of 15-16. Monroeville falls to 16-15.
