Salazar Lifts Seahawks to 7-0 Triumph
|
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks topped the Monroeville Yinzers, 7-0, with youngster Juan Salazar playing a key role. Salazar was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Seahawks in the win. Vincente Pagán got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 5 innings. The losing streak for Monroeville has now reached 5 games.
In the first inning, Salazar had a 2-run double for Myrtle Beach. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Seahawks on top, 2-0.
