With Yuan Chou leading the charge, the Eugene Vandals defeated the Kennesaw Jets, 8-2. Chou went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Vandals. At 16-16, Eugene is in 5th place in the Premier A.

Chou made an early impact for Eugene when he stroked his 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Vandals on top, 3-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Roberto Ríos.
