The Newmarket Rogues topped the Lake Erie Arryns, 10-4, in USPL Single A action at Rogues Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Newmarket pitcher Oscar Drenth. The winner was Drenth. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Mick Ditka. Newmarket is now 16-17.

The Rogues got a lift from shortstop Mitsuo Ono, who in the bottom of the second hit a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season put the Rogues on top, 2-0.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Drenth.
