The Kennesaw Jets defeated the Eugene Vandals, 2-0, in 11 innings in USPL Single A action at The Riot Zone. Kennesaw pitcher José Guerrero had a standout performance. Kennesaw is in 7th place in the Premier A with a record of 16-17.

Though he did not get the decision, Guerrero did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Kennesaw eventually rallied past the Vandals.

"Runs were at a premium," said Kennesaw manager Roberto Ríos.
