The Kennesaw Jets captured an easy win, 13-4, over the Put-In-Bay Commodores at Jets Stadium. Roberto Flores led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-4 for Kennesaw. Kennesaw starter Luis Yánez was credited with the win after throwing 115 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 4-1. The 5th-place Jets now have a record of 17-17.

Brody Peck broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Jets in front, 2-1. For the game, Peck went 1-3 with a walk.

"I like winning," Peck told the Kennesaw Gazette. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
