Flamingos Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Las Vegas Flamingos starter Mike Bailie was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Montana Pandas, 5-1. Bailie yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 1-1. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Akil bin Abbud.

In the top of the second, Las Vegas designated hitter Juan Díaz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, Díaz stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-0, Las Vegas. For the game, he went 1-5, while adding 2 RBI.
