Newmarket Rallies to 6-4 Win
The Newmarket Rogues racked up a win at The Riot Zone, bumping off the Eugene Vandals, 6-4, in 10 innings. Juan Torres, who started for Newmarket, pitched effectively for his team. Bobby Spears recorded the save, his 9th. The Rogues now have a record of 18-17 with the win over Eugene.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With two out, Mitsuo Ono hit a 1-0 fastball from Jeff Rodríguez for a 2-run single. It put Newmarket in front, 6-4.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Ono. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
