Rogues Get Thrilling 4-3 Win
The Newmarket Rogues did just enough to secure a victory over the Eugene Vandals, 4-3, in 10 innings at Rogues Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Bob Scott. Joe Dunn notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-2. The 4th-place Vandals now sit at 20-16.

The Rogues relied on center fielder Dave Hansen for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Hansen told the Newmarket Daily.
