Tula Win with Late Heroics
The Chicago Tula beat the South Beach Blaze, 7-6, in 10 innings at Ramblers Ballpark. Chicago center fielder Pedro Rosa had an outstanding performance. He went 3-5 with a triple, 2 doubles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ray Berard was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Jody Ross. The Tula are now 22-14, while the Blaze fall to 20-16.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Blaze allowed the Tula to score the winning run.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Rosa said.
