Fong Hits 2 home runs in Crawdads Win
|
Thanks in large part to left fielder Ka-fei Fong, the Cut Off Crawdads beat the South Beach Blaze, 7-4. Fong was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. The Blaze, at 20-17, have lost 4 straight games.
Early in the game, Fong had a grand slam home run for Cut Off. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Crawdads on top, 5-1.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Fong. "You've got to get results."
