Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Put-In-Bay Commodores and the Eugene Vandals. Put-In-Bay won it, 3-1. Put-In-Bay starter Jesús López was in command. Put-In-Bay has now won 4 games in a row.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," López told the Put-In-Bay Daily News.
