Huntington Loses, 8-4, to Kennesaw in 10

Behind a fine performance from José Urbina, the Kennesaw Jets knocked off the Huntington Hermit Crabs in 10 innings, 8-4. Urbina was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Jets. Kennesaw reliever Hunter Holman picked up the win to move to 1-1. Joe García suffered the loss. The loss makes Huntington 21-17.
Kennesaw used the timely hitting of Derrick Glass to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Jets on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Glass.
