The Eugene Vandals got a rain-soaked win over the Philadelphia Liberty U-24.

Eugene Vandals starter Ben Watkins pitched his team past the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 in 10 innings, 3-2. Eugene pitcher Tony Peña got the win. He's now 2-2. Paul Dunn was tagged with the loss.

The clutch hit was provided by Ernesto Jiménez. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Paul Dunn in the bottom of the tenth.

"Ben attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Eugene manager Milton Mathews.

Eugene is now 18-21, Philadelphia 22-17.
