The Cage was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Delmarva Gallos and Eugene Vandals.

Despite a fine performance by first baseman Santiago Vargas, the Eugene Vandals lost to the Delmarva Gallos, 7-6. Vargas was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The save went to Juan González, his 14th this season.

Cam López came through for the Gallos in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Delmarva leading 6-5, the first baseman, who is tied for 9th in the PA in triples with 1, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly.

López said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.

The 4th-place Gallos are now 20-19, the Vandals 17-22.
