Losing Streak Continues for Rogues with 8-6 Loss to Yinzers
Monroeville third baseman Luis Antonio Herrera contributed significantly to his team's 8-6 win over the Newmarket Rogues. Herrera, who is tied for 4th in the PA in triples with 2, went 3 for 5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Yinzers. Newmarket is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 10 games.

Tomás Gaona provided a timely hit. The Monroeville second baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Yinzers on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Todd Hunter.
