The Chicago Tula beat the Newmarket Rogues, 5-3. Chicago pitcher and Pahrump, Nevada, native Kip Hill led the way. The winner was Chicago reliever Steffen Benton, now 2-0. The loser was Rodney Johnson. Earning his 2nd save for Chicago was José Tapia.

Rafael García was 1 for 4 against the Rogues. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Chicago in front, 4-3.

"It feels good to get this one," Hill told the Chicago Today.

After today's action, Chicago sits at 22-18, while Newmarket falls to 19-21.
