The Cut Off Crawdads defeated the Pontiac Godfathers, 3-2. Doing his part was shortstop Johnathan Erickson, who was 2-4 with 2 home runs. The win went to Logan Mashiter in relief, making him now 2-1. Richard Jiménez took the loss for Pontiac. Anthony Bailey earned the save for Cut Off, his 9th.

Erickson had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Richard Jiménez, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Crawdads a 3-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Erickson.

"Enjoyed this one," Erickson told the Cut Off Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The 8th-place Crawdads now have a record of 18-22.
