The Montana Pandas earned a close win over the Philadelphia Liberty, thanks in part to Nick Long. The Montana left-hander, who finished 3rd in the SL in innings pitched with 161.2 in 2054, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Alex Wilson earned the save for Montana, his 5th of the year. With the win, Montana boosts its record to 9-8.

Ken Ervin had a big hit for Montana in the top of the second inning. With Montana leading 1-0, Ervin hit a run-scoring double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Pandas up, 2-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Ervin.
