The Kennesaw Jets received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Simon Foster, allowing them to shoot down the South Beach Blaze, 2-1. The win for the Jets raised their record to 21-20.

John Curry, who is tied for 6th in the PA in RBI with 23, had a direct impact on the outcome. Curry contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Kennesaw up, 2-0.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Curry told the Kennesaw Gazette.
