The Lake Erie Arryns picked up a win at Put-In-Bay Ballpark, knocking off the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 5-4. On the mound for Lake Erie was left-hander Salvador Pérez. He played a key role in the triumph. David Cole locked down his 3rd save. Put-In-Bay has now lost 4 in a row.

Lake Erie used the clutch hitting of Santos Mata to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arryns ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Salvador set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Lake Erie manager Louis Espinosa.
