Hermit Crabs Suffer 3-0 Road Loss
Gabriel Diharce, who leads the PA with a 9.5 K/9 rate, was in top form in a tight contest between South Beach and Huntington. The Blaze right-hander helped his team beat the Hermit Crabs, 3-0. Diharce, now 3-2, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The win for the Blaze lifted their record to 26-17.

Joe Baker had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the eighth for South Beach. He came through with a 2-run single to put South Beach in front, 3-0.

In postgame remarks, Diharce hailed his team's "mettle."
