Riding the 2-hit performance of the 22-year old shortstop Les Phillips, the Cut Off Crawdads stopped the Monroeville Yinzers, 6-1. Albert Casillas was the winner. He's now 1-3. The loser was Aquilino Meléndez. The first-place Crawdads have won 4 straight games.

Phillips had a key at-bat for Cut Off in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Cut Off an early 3-0 lead.
