The Kennesaw Jets went down to defeat to Kip Hill and his Chicago teammates. The final score was 4-2, Tula, in 12 innings. The win went to Steffen Benton in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Fred Jennings took the loss. Chicago is 26-19 and Kennesaw, with the loss, 22-23.
Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Odmar van der Reijd to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Tula on top, 4-2. For the game, van der Reijd had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
