Fans who congregated at Crawdads Field were treated to extra-inning drama.
The Kennesaw Jets took Phil Gulick's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Crawdads Field. The final score had Kennesaw getting past the Crawdads, 7-4, in 10 innings. Gulick over 7 innings allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 8. Hunter Holman locked down his 2nd save.
Armando Barrón went 1 for 4 against the Crawdads. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Kennesaw in front, 4-3.
In postgame comments, Barrón said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
With the win, the Jets have a record of 22-24.
