The Delmarva Gallos picked up a win at Jets Stadium, knocking off the Kennesaw Jets, 4-3, in 13 innings. Starting pitcher Lewis Smith played a key role in the triumph. Delmarva pitcher Juan Velasco got the win, upping his record to 5-2. Ray Peck got the loss. Juan González nailed down the save.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the 13th inning. With no one out, Nigel Coughlan hit a 2-1 cutter from Ray Peck for a 2-run single. It put Delmarva in front, 4-2.

"We earned that one," said Smith.

At 22-25, the Gallos are currently 8th in the Premier A.
