White Walkers Squelch Rainbow Mermaids Offense in Shutout Win
|
Buffalo White Walkers starter Gilberto Cruz hurled his team past the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 6-0. Tony Hurtado earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. The Rainbow Mermaids fall to 4-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2062 season.
The White Walkers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Gilberto's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Chris Lau, the White Walkers manager.
