The Reapers faced a stiff challenge from Eugene pitcher Spike Mayer, but persevered to claim a win at The Coffin. The final score was 2-1. Mayer went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Grim reliever Jeff Forrest picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kent Church took the loss. The wins continue to add up for Grim. The latest makes it 7 in a row.

Grim got a knockout punch from Ramón Romero. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Romero said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
