Danny Landry pitched a gem to lead Chicago to victory over the Lake Erie Arryns, 5-1. With the win, Chicago goes to 32-19, while the Arryns fall to 31-20.

The Tula got an important contribution from left fielder Arnold Jenkins, who in the bottom of the third punched a first pitch fastball to left for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Tula ahead, 4-0.

Jenkins attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
