The Chicago Tula took Delmarva pitcher Walt Murray's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Cage. The final score had Chicago getting past the Gallos, 5-4. Murray went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 8. The winner was William Nevárez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Juan González took the loss. The win lifted the Chicago record to 29-23.

Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Bruce Wood to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tula on top, 5-4. For the game, Wood had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
