The Put-In-Bay Commodores downed the Kennesaw Jets, 7-1, at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. Billy Mathis led the way, going 3-for-4 for Put-In-Bay. Put-In-Bay has now won 10 in a row.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the fifth, Mathis had a key at-bat for Put-In-Bay. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Mathis hit a run-scoring single off Luis Yánez, making the score 2-1, Commodores.

"Everybody is chipping in right now," said Mathis. "That's what makes it so much fun."
