Stingers Defeat Shredders, 2-1

Hollywood pitcher Tim O'Heyne gave the Stingers all they could handle, but in the end, Toledo left The Hollywood Bowl with a win, 2-1. O'Heyne allowed 2 runs on 6 hits over 8 innings. The Shredders fall to 7-12 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2054 season.
Toledo used the timely hitting of John Warren to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Stingers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Warren said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
