The Levittown Blue Dragons rode a solid performance from 21-year-old starting pitcher Carlos Guzmán to a win, beating the Eugene Vandals, 4-1, at The Riot Zone. Jean-Luc Morand sewed up the save, his 9th. Their 28-25 record puts the Blue Dragons 4th in the Premier A.

Thulsa Doom cracked a home run off Christos Waddington in the top of the sixth. His solo blast put the Blue Dragons on top, 2-1. In all, Doom had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Levittown manager Justin Broadfoot.
