van Zundert Plays Big Role in Philadelphia Win
Philadelphia picked up a win at Liberty Youth Field, bumping off the Kennesaw Jets, 5-0. Pitcher Pavel van Zundert was a major reason the Liberty U-24 emerged victorious. By defeating Kennesaw, the third-place Liberty U-24 improved to 30-23.

van Zundert made it look effortless. He scattered 4 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Philadelphia right-hander encountered little resistance from the Kennesaw hitters. His season record is now 4-1.

"We have a lot of confidence in Pavel," said Philadelphia manager Rio Bavin.
