Newmarket and Delmarva duked it out and the Rogues came out victorious.

Newmarket turned a good effort from starter Jerry Anderson into a win over the Delmarva Gallos at Rogues Stadium. The Rogues won the game, 3-0. Marc Maxwell earned the save for Newmarket.

Anderson, the Newmarket left-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.

"Jerry had good arm action, good stuff," said Newmarket manager Clay Myers.

The 9th-place Rogues now have a win-loss record of 23-32.
