Huntington got a strong outing from Mark Moore as the Hermit Crabs defeated the Philadelphia Liberty U-24, 6-2, at Liberty Youth Field. Moore, the winner, moves to 2-4. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Timothy Hess earned the save for Huntington, his 1st.

Huntington used the hitting of Cisco Alvarado to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Hermit Crabs on top, 2-0. For the game, Alvarado had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Huntington manager Bernardino Condeixa.
