In a tight tilt between the Kennesaw Jets and the Cut Off Crawdads, Luis Yánez was the deciding factor. The Kennesaw right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Ronald Montés finished to wrap up his 3rd save. With the win, the Jets improved to 30-27.

Kennesaw center fielder Nick Watson landed a blow when he belted a solo home run in the bottom of the third. It was his 5th home run of the season. With it, the Jets took a 1-0 lead.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Cut Off manager Miguel Aguilar. "The effort was great."
