Reapers Pick Up 4-2 Win Over Walla Walla
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Grim Reapers and Walla Walla Walleye.

The Grim Reapers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Norman Ayres. The right-hander kept the Walla Walla offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-2 Grim victory at Walleye Tank. Jeff Forrest got credit for the save for Grim. It was his 19th of the year.

Grim used a clutch at-bat from Mario Ornelas to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Reapers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It feels good to get this one," Ornelas told the Grim Bulletin.

With the win, Grim has a record of 34-24. Walla Walla falls to 25-33.
