The Cut Off Crawdads defeated the Lake Erie Arryns, 5-2, in USPL Single A action at Arryns Ballpark. Cut Off pitcher Carlos Casas had a standout performance. Cut Off reliever David Anderson got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Luke Little was tagged with the loss. The Crawdads, at 29-31, sit in 7th place in the Premier A.

Martin Mills chipped in for Cut Off, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.

"Carlos is good at sticking to his strengths," said Cut Off manager Miguel Aguilar.
