Vandals Earn 4-2 Home Win

The Eugene Vandals picked up a win at The Riot Zone, taking down the Philadelphia Liberty U-24, 4-2. Starting pitcher Raúl González was a big reason why. Eugene is now 34-26, Philadelphia 34-26.
Kelly Dingwell hit a 2-run triple off Bob Heath in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Vandals in front, 2-0. Dingwell had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said González.
