Arryns Squelch Vandals Offense in Shutout Win
The Lake Erie Arryns went home winners at The Riot Zone, thanks in large part to starter Andrew Haney. Haney stifled the Eugene Vandals, enabling Lake Erie to grab the 5-0 win. In 7 innings, Haney surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. The current losing streak for Eugene has reached 4 games.

Lake Erie used a well-timed hit by Joren Pelikaan to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Arryns ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
